Request for information

Welcome to the general information request module of the Office of the Syndic of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. It lets you send questions of an ethical nature on one or more subject matters concerning or handled by the Office of the Syndic.

 

There are three steps in an information request.

 

1- Identify yourself and enter your contact information. If you wish to remain anonymous, please call the Office of the Syndic at 1 877 ÉTHIQUE (1 877 384-4783).

 

2- Indicate whether your request for information concerns one of the listed subjects and fill in your question. Repeat this step to add other questions.

 

3- Send your information request.


Remarks :

 

- The staff of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec cannot issue a legal opinion. If that is what you require, please contact a lawyer.

- By filling out this form, you willingly provide information to the Office of the Syndic. The Office of Syndic gathers this information in order to answer your requests and comments. This information is protected under the provisions of the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector and the Professional Code. The law entitles you to consult and correct your personal information, if necessary.

- Your information request may lead a syndic to carry out an inquiry or may become part of an existing inquiry ( see how inquiry requests received by the Syndic are handled ). If that is the case, the information contained in your information request will be considered part of the Syndic’s inquiry. The protection of and access to this information is governed by specific provisions of the Act respecting access to documents held by public bodies and the protection of personal information and the Professional Code.
